Call for papers - " Interface: a journal for and about social movements"
The militant-academic journal "Interface" is recieving contributions on the theme "Movement Internationalism(s)". The accepted papers are expected to be published on november, 2014. The deadline for submissions is May, 1, 2014. More information can be gathered here.

Good News: "Contention: The Multidisciplinary Journal of Social Protest", V. 1, N.1 has been launched!

An interesting social research about the use of Twitter within the moviment “Los Indignados”
The study presented bellow lists and debates some data from an empiric researched focused on the electoral Spanish period in 2011. According to them, social networks such as twitter tend to provide substantial help, in order to achieve interactions between grassroots members.
